Rocky Road Rifle Range - Any Words of Wisdom?

Going to Rock Road in Jonesville, VA for the first time this weekend.

Any words of wisdom? E.g., Need super short flag poles? Poles with spikes don't work? Need super tall rear bag due to down range angle?

Anything constructive appreciated.

Hey Greg,
You will need a few tall poles and some medium ones. Spikes will work just fine if the ground isn't frozen.:)

From 0-100, regular poles will be just fine. The range gets really steep at about 150 yds and then levels out again for the last 25 yds or so. If you have a couple of tall poles, that should do it. You probably want to bring warm clothes according to the weather guessers.

Also wear Some good boots, I've been working on the parking and all the rain has not let me get it finished.
