...been calling late in the day? I believe their website states they only answer the phone after 3:45, or so.

I got through 2 minutes ago, 4:15 their time, and Paul checked on my (oddball/custom) order in seconds..... all copacetic 
IMO they're just backlogged, extremely busy. As we say in business, "a good problem to have" but hard on customer base....
I'm glad they're busy, I'm willing to wait.

Anyone not able and willing to wait for custom gun parts or supplies must have been born yesterday!

Greg, there are limits to everything. There is no excuse to not answer the phone. I have called anywhere from 8AM to 6PM Central time, for days.
An observation on "the wait."
I wait on people, people wait on me.... In my business they say it this way,
"There's three things in business"
"SPEED"
"PRICE"
"QUALITY"
"pick two"
I will wait for quality when necessary.
I will not tolerate a drop in quality,
period,
if I wanted it FASTER or CHEAPER, I'd have ordered from someone else
if I wanted LESSER QUALITY, I'd have ordered it elsewhere.....
