We had a great day and a great turnout for our final Tomball Gun Club VFS Match today. 40 shooters showed up for the chance to not only win some cash, but also a 13.5 6mm Bartlien Barrel donated by veteran shooter John Jones, 50 formed 30 BR cases donated by "zombiekiller" Wes Johnson, and a 1-18 twist 30 caliber Krieger HV blank donated by R.C. Schmidt & Sons Machine Shop Inc.
Conditions started out light but switchy, Just enough to get you in trouble. As the day progresses, mirage set in as well as the typical Tomball conditions.
To give the 6mm barrel and the cases away, we drew bench numbers out of the can. Tim Peck won the 6mm barrel, Reynard Alexander won the cases.
As for the 30 caliber Krieger, we decided that the last shot of the match would determine that who ever scored the best hit on the # 5 bulls eye in the final match of the day won the barrel.
Ashley Jones did the deed, hitting the # 5 bull dead center to win the barrel

Vic Smith won the money shot, pin wheeling the #1 bull in the final Match, picking up over $200.
As for the Match Winners, we paid money to five places, having $1200 to disperse, donated by R.C. Schmidt & Sons Machine Shop Inc.
