Results of the 23rd Annual Hog Roast!

Hey Guys!
If you were unable to attend this year's Hog Roast, you truly missed some great weather and favorable wind conditions!
61 shooters started arriving on Thursday and Friday and were greeted with sunny skies and temps in the mid-to-high 60's!
I truly love the Hog Roast! It was the first BR Group match I ever attended back in
'98. (I became hooked... as I used to love (OK…tolerate) setting flags and shooting in freezing rain and sleet!)
The Hog Roast is the first major match in the NBRSA Eastern region and is a great tune-up against lots of strong competition in preparation for the Suoper Shoot!. It's also really great to see everyone again, especially after a long cold winter...
This year's Hog Roast was quite special, as Joe Krupa and the Eastern Region Hall of Fame committee, has granted an honorary induction of Roye Leckemby in to the NBRSA Eastern Region Hall of Fame, based upon Roye's many contributions in hosting 23 years of the Hog Roast and a number of NBRSA National Championships.
On Saturday evening, after the 100Yd. award presentations, we presented Roye with his honorary NBRSA ER Hall of Fame plaque, which Joe Krupa had made (thanks, Joe!)
Additionally, the Fairchance Gun Club also presented Roye with a plaque, honoring his many years of tireless service and dedication the club.
This presentation were quite moving to say the least.... Many of you may know Roye was involved in a serious car accident last November and it was a blessing to be able to have him join us on Saturday evening so we could all wish him well! (Please keep Roye in all your thoughts and prayers...) Please know I will post the pictures of Roye's ER Hall of Fame induction as soon as I receive them.

Congrats Jack...your making this look to easy.

Also, congrats to all the yardage and agg winners...

Roye...your honor is well deserved. For anyone who hasn't been to the HogRoast, this club has some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Wish I could have been there this year.

Way to go Jack!! You put so much back into the sport helping others and yet keep yourself in tune. I hope you cracked a Guinness after the win. Congrats to Tony as well - always doing well. Wish I could have made it but spring (seems like winter still) has been pretty hectic here in North Dakota. See you at the SS. There we will have a Guinness (or two) win or lose.

What's this? No drinkin'? Dave on the dry???
Nope, that's not acceptable........not acceptable at all......
Don't worry Jack, I'll have him back on the booze next week in good time for the Super Shoot. As an Irishman, I refuse to drink alone! Actually, I find I shoot smaller groups after a few crates of Guinness. Well, I think they're smaller anyway........hard to tell with the double vision & shakes.

Looking forward to my first benchrest shoot & having some craic with you guys in Ohio. Sounds like you had a great time at the Hog Roast. Congrats to all.
