Those experienced with the Remington 260, I'm getting ready to start building loads and would appreciate some guidance.

24" McGowen Sporter barrel with 1:8 Twist.

Current bullets:
Nosler Accubond 130gr
Hornady Interlock 129gr SP
Nosler Partition 125gr Spitzer
Nosler Ballistic Tip 100gr Spitzer

Current Powders:
H414
H4350
H4831SC
IMR4350

Primers:
CCI 250
CCI 200
Standard Winchester (have to take what you can get)
NO Match Grade BR's or 210M's they are on Back order.

I plan to start with: 129gr Hornady's
then the 125gr Nosler
the 100gr Nosler
the 130gr Nosler

With this info, what power would you start with for each bullet. I've also read the H414 likes the magnum primers, is this so?

Hopefully, the barreled action will be here by the end of the week. The chrony and a few other things should be here by then also.

Yea, I forgot to add, I'm starting with these powders and not buying any more for a while, I've about spent out, so no Reloader or other brands for starters. I would appreciate others comments on what powders work best for them so after I get all these worked up and shooting. I will probably experiment with others that are giving good results in other guns.

FWIW, I built my 7 year old Grandson a 260 and loaded him a batch of 100 gr bullets with a light load of 4895. It shot under 1 moa and no recoill problems. This was with a sewdish mauser barrel.
