Removing parallax from Bushnell scope?

I have two Busnell Scopechiefs circa. 1955-60 that have a large amount of paralax in them. One is a 4x and one a 6x. I need to know how I may remove the parallax or someplace that I may send them to have them corrected.

Any suggestions about this problem?

TIA,

Zeke

Usually with a non adjustable objective scope, you pretty much have what you have. Scopes like that are usually set for parallex free at 100 to 125 yards. Get back to your question. Yes, it can be readjusted. You will have to move the objective lens. It takes special tools and some one who knows how to use them. VERY easy to damage something. You might contact Bill Ackerman in Santa Teresa NM. 505 589 3833. He does great work.

Are these rim fire or centerfire scopes? At what range are you experiencing parallax? With such low power scopes I would be surprised you could notice parallax at 100 yards or more. The factory usually sets centerfire scopes for about 150 yards.
