Remington Bolt Handle

I have an older Remington 700 ADL chambered for 30-06 that I loaned to my cousin. I originally bought it just for the action as I planned all along to have the action reworked/lightened, rebarreled, and restocked. Somewhere, somehow in his use of the gun the bolt snapped off and he lost the end that snapped off. It looks to me like it snapped off a little to short to be able to drill and tap it for a tactical trigger, such as the Badger.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement used bolt? I know it will have to be re-headspaced which I have a friend that can do that for me. I have found the factory bolts from Remington at Brownell's for $169. I also found the replacement tactital handles by Hollands Gunsmithing at Brownells for 34.99.

So my question is twofold, first where I might locate a used bolt, and second does anyone know of a good gunsmith with the proper jig to replace the original handle with the one from Hollands?

Thanks,
Jimmy

His name is Dan Armstrong. He has done several for me and is great pricewise and turn around time.

This is a mini mauser.

Dan understands bolt timing and extraction. They work flawlessly when you receive it back.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the help. I will get in touch with him tomorrow.

Matt,
Cloward is a very good gunsmith, but bolt handles are the only thing Dan does and he does a tremendous amount of them.

I spoke with Dan yesterday for almost 45 minutes. He is definitely the man when it comes to knowledge about bolts. He can talk forever about different ways to improve a bolt's design. Thanks everyone for the recommendation.
