Hi, I have a Remington VSSF in 223 that is mainly being used at the range, a mate has a Remington 2 ounce 3-lever trigger that has not been used and was originally purchased for my rifle when he was its owner. Question does the 2 ounce trigger have any trigger weight adjustment? Or is it set at 2 ounce and only 2 ounce weight.
Cheers Nick

I cant find any reference to an adjustment range for the Rem 2 ounce trigger.
Advertising says 2.6 ounce.
Let off tests seem to confirm that it can be adjusted between an average of 2.7 to 6.3 ounce.
Outwardly it looks the same as a normal Rem trigger with adjustments but internally it is a bit different from standard.
Trigger weight is partly about spring pressure as opposed to finger pressure.
As far as I can see it has the same poundage spring system as a standard trigger except for weight .

Think about it.

Supposedly 2-6 oz. Not very well thought of, especially for the money. Fine for a live varmit gun.

See Otteson's "Benchrest actions and Triggers".

Good shooting.:D

I purchased the 3-lever trigger to have a play, there appears to be no way to dial the the trigger weight up to 6oz. If you adjust the trigger weight screw the sear won't engage and if you try to adjust the sear you induce creep. So it looks like approx 2oz the trigger will remain which for me it will hopefully be good. Thanks for your input guys.
Cheers Nick
