what about the new mod 7predator? Can the trigger be adjusted with any success?

It has the x mark pro trigger, susposed to be adjustable. It doesn't seem to adjust very much.
X Mark Pro trigger adjustment is the same as a standard Rem trigger group.
A 1/16" allen wrench is required.
Remove the sealant from the screws with acetone on a Q tip.
A butane torch/lighter is required to soften the lock tite also.
3Lb pull is easily acquired,less with spring replacement.
Do Not crowd the over travel adjustment as it needs to move with safety actuation.
OR-
Install a std/pre 2006 700 trigger group w/ Seven bolt release lever attached to the trigger group.
Stock inletting fwd of the rear action screw is required to install a std trigger group into an X Mark inletted stock.
