Gentlemen.
Over the years I have noticed there seems to be some misunderstanding regarding the so called ZERO (.009) group fired by M.P."Mac" McMillan on Sept. 23. 1973.
Here are the facts:
Rifle : Light varmint class
Action : Mac built using brother Pats design.
Barrel : Pat McMillan 1x14 twist.
Caliber : .222 Remington
Stock : McMillan Fiberglass by another brother, Gail McMillan.
Bullet : 50 grain Mac made using Pat made dies. J-4 jackets.
Scope : 12 x Leupold converted by Wally Siebert to 24 x.
Powder : BL -C, Lot 1 / 23.5 grain
primer : Then a prototype. BR - 4 CCI Bench Rest.
Best wishes,
Magnus Sigurdsson
