This has probably been hashed over dozens of times...but I couldn't find it. I just built an AR15 with a Wilson 20", 1:9 twist, HBAR, Wylde Chambered barrel. I have a BUNCH of Sierra 55gr Plastic tip BT bullets I'd like to use...if that is not a good weight, I can order what is optimum. I'm looking for the BEST accuracy possible out to 200 yards I have thousands of once fired LC 14 (Police Range) cases that I'll be prepping...trim, debur primer pockets, uniform flash holes, small base size, and sort by weight. I'll be seating the bullets with an RCBS sliding sleeve bullet seater. NOW, what I'm looking for is the most accurate Powder and grain weight...and optimum bullet weight for my barrel. Thanks, guys...

I think a @62 gr bullet is best for your twist. Opinions vary and nobody knows what powder charge will work in your barrel. Consult a reliable reloading manual like sierras if you choose to use their bullets and work up to a good load. They have loads online i hear for auto rifles since the recent popularity of the ar15

SMK 45-69 gn. Pick one. All good. 200y. go with 69 gn. And with the LC brass. Can't beat it.
I have LC brass with 7-8 reloads. 52 gn bullets(not SMK)...same barrel. Some days it's 0.250" at 100y. some days it's 0.500". Lot of fun....
Remember each barrel and each day of that barrel is different. Each time you shot the barrel changes. :).
