Range box???

I have only been to watch a couple of BR matches and plan to shoot one at Denton this weekend. However, reloading in the field is going to be a new experience for me. I am trying to figure out what to use to carry all my stuff in. What do you guys us for a range box and where do you get it?

Thanks, tiny

Most of the guys use either a Ford or a Chevy or a Dodge. Gas or diesel. Full size or a small one helps with holding all the stuff....
Hope this helps.

Lew is right. I use a F-350 crew cab long bed diesel 4X4 dually.
Seriously though, You'll end up with a number of boxes. Most of your reloading stuff will go into a three drawer tool box.

When I first started competitive shooting nearly forty years ago it was bullseye pistol and I took one box to the line with three pistols. Years later I went to long range rifle (Palma) and took spotting scope, mat, stool, range box, shooting coat and other stuff. Now in bench rest it seems like I take a portable machine shop to the range.

gotta have wheels

i use one of these - they are good to get stuff there.

tool boxes

I think that I sometimes need a semi truck and trailer but most of the time I get it in the back of the CRV. I shoot 22 benchrest.
I have 2 friends that used enclosed trailers to carry all of their centerfire stuff to different matches.
I think it is just what ever suits you the best.

Look at other shooter's boxes....

then go to Bass Pro shops. Their tackle boxes are lighter and cheaper than the Kennedy boxes and come in a big variety of setups. Figure what you need to the max.

I have this one, I like it. The top is big enough to store my arbor press and powder measure. I can put the dies, tools and such in the slide out drawers.

Yep. that's the exact same one I have. Works well. As Adrian says "I like it".

I use an 18" (6) drawer Kennedy toolbox. Bought it in 1970 for $18.00(new) and it's had (2) lives: feeding the kids and holding BR stuff. I think the price has gone up lately.

I just picked up a 11 drawer Kennedy from Fastenal here in Brandon and I paid well over 400.00 CDN for it . It is overkill, but I just had to have one.:D

The sad note is it is HEAVY when loaded up. I needed something that I could fit lots into and fit easily behind the seat of my Ford Ranger.
