I was playing around in QuickLoad this morning and the "123" function put these powders on a list of possibilities. I would like to know how these powders have performed in 600 or 1000 yard F-Class or Benchrest competition. Temperature sensitivity, lot-to-lot variation, ES/SD, pressure surprises, etc??? The list also included powders I am familiar with: N560, IMR-7828SSC, and H4831SC so comparisons with any of them would also be helpful.
Thanks very much.

MRP has been rock solid, very good MV, ES and SD and no lot to lot variation. My go to powder for the 300 WSM. Several other guys are using it also with good success.

RL 22, temp sensitive and lot to lot variation with one lot getting a really bad rep and was recalled several years ago.

Totally agree on the R22. Crono says 3250 day before the match then it runs over 3300 the next day and same temps. I just don't trust it. Also had issues when I changed lots. Anyone that needs any, mine is for sale if you live in my area.

The VV N560 is great in all regards and in my opinion the VV N160 is right there with it. I've had better luck with these two than any other powders.

MRP I only tried in a limited test and it seemed good to go, just didn't give me the load density & velocity I wanted.

Never tried the Ramshot Mag but recently did try the Ramshot Hunter and it also seemed stable. I had pressure problems with it trying to get density once again so i put it back on the shelf.

I tested 12 powders for my most recent build and VV N160 is where I landed.

Thanks for the replies. I have had excellent results with N560 and all of the VV powders I have tried in several chamberings. Unfortunately, N560 has been unavailable, at least to me, for most of the last year, so I was looking for something that performs about the same but is more readily available. Ramshot Magnum, MAGPRO, and MRP bracket N560 in the QL chart and the first two appear to be available. MRP also appears to be out of stock where I have looked. I have been using a lot of IMR-7828SSC with excellent results but wanted to try something that would give a little more velocity.
Thanks again
