Hi Guys and Gals,
good to see your interest in Air BR over there. I've been shooting BR with my FWB P70FT for over two years now with the UKBR22 postal league, indoors at 25yds, it's a good test for any air rifle.
I've noticed a few requests for advice on type of rifle and air storage but all the answers seem a bit vague! Not being familiar with the law on your side of the pond, could I ask what sort of power output you are proposing.
I've also noticed a couple of pictures posted of air rifles in BR type stocks, do you think these are necessary? I manage perfectly well with the standard ally unit on my FWB, at our permitted power levels, 12ftlb max, there is no perceived recoil.
Finally, after settling on which rifle I wanted, I found by far the biggest factor in consistency and accuracy is the pellet, find a make/size your barrel likes and stick with it! I even go as far as batching my pellets by weight and then put them all through a sizer!
Have fun guys, it ain't as easy as you might think but it's great fun trying.
Happy New Year one and all..... Robb
