OK..... another view on brass.
A few of MY OPINIONS on brass.
I've done the brass thing pretty heavily for a number of yrs (since the mid eighties? Some of my first brass assessment tests were with Sako balloon-head, the winningest at the time)
To me "how brass comes" is a complete nothingburger. It's ALL just a formless hunk of modeling clay out of the box, useless for anything but a base product from which to form working cases.
"How brass becomes" is all I care about. It must SHOOT, it must LAST while shooting.
And "shooting" means dots. Round holes. 5 shots under 1/4moa.
PERIOD
Anything less is just going bang and spending my hard-earned money for noise...... We buy/build/mfgr and utilate HE and fireworks for that.
To shoot under 1/4moa IMO;
It must get HARD
It must get STRAIGHT
that's it
