Dark Corner Benchrest Shooters Association
invites you to:
May 2017 Benchrest Group Shoot
2016 - Sunday afternoon – May 21st
Starts at Noon
Benchrest Match the Third Sunday every month at noon in 2017.
Refer to calendar on club website @ www.polkcountygunclub.org
Custom, Factory, AR, and Rimfire Class.
The May shoot format will be two 5 shot groups at 100, 200, and 300 yards. Your
best group at each yardage will be submitted for measurement. Groups will be
measured center to center. You will have 45 minutes to shoot.
Your three small groups will be added for a combined measurement. The smallest
three overall groups in each rifle class will be awarded prizes. Rimfire will shoot 100 yards ,same amount of targets as centerfire. Sighters at 200 and 300 yards. Multiple rifles may be used at the different yardages!
After the conclusion of the group match, we will shoot a “Pool Stick Chalk Cube” at 300 yards. If you hit the chalk cube, your name will be placed on our Benchrest plaque that is displayed in our Clubhouse ! 1 Shot !
We will then have a “1 shot - closest to the “X” at a yardage to be selected by a drawing. Winner gets a really nice Case Trapper knife. All welcome to our monthly benchrest matches! Summer League starts in June.
