Polar Ejector

I have a Polar that is RBLP, is there anyone that can modify the bolt/action so that it will eject? I thought I heard that there was someone that was doing this modification but don't remember who!

Thanks Mark,I will give them a call tomorrow. I figured they just made new actions and built guns never thought to ask them to modify an old one!

Thanks Lou, I appreiciate the info, I will call tomorrow hopefully I can get it done before the Springville,Ut shoot as this is my Rail Gun action. Keith I will let you know the details as soon as I find out.

Just got off the phone with Kelblys and here's the deal. If you have a right bolt left port gun, you need a new bolt, if you have Dual port gun and the extractor is on the right side of the bolt you can send them the bolt and the bolt stop and they will install the ejector and modify the bolt stop so your rifle will eject! I got lucky cause my polar is a dual port, but I looked at my teddy and it only has 1 port so I am going to send them the polar parts and the cost for converting it is $75.00. Keith hope that helps.

I also called Kelblys on a R/R Panda I have. They are going to make it a dual port with right eject. One of our fellow shooters ordered a Panda from Brunos and it was a right bolt, left port, with a left eject using a Remington plunger ejector. I wonder if Bruno modified the bolt or Kelblys installed it.

I wouldn't think that Lester would have modified it, but anything is possible. Was the action billed as new or used? The action could have been ordered that way for someone shooting left handed but wanting to use their right hand to operate the bolt! If Kelblys modifies the action I am wondering if they are going to do a new bolt because if it already ejects to the left that would mean the extractor is on the left and the ejector is on the right which kicks the brass out to the left which is completely opposite of what exists at the bolt face now? What did they tell you it would cost? By the way Keith I am going to come down for the VFS nationals.

The guy ordered a R/L Panda from Brunos and that what was sent to him as a new action. I have never seen a Remington plunger in a Stolle/Kelbly bolt. Glad to hear your coming down for the Nationals. We will have the entire range for practice Thursday and Friday prior.

Wow,how did you manage to pull off having the range for that many days? The club members and officers would have had a fit if we had ever tried to do that when I was a member there! Do you have a loading area yet, or is it like before you just set up behind the firing line?

Loading area will be behind the firing line. We will have a parking plan in place so we have the room for everyone. Yes alot has changed at the club for the better.
