Peidmont 600 Info

Mark, we missed you yesterday . It was an excellent day to shoot a match. mirage got rather bad during LG but not much wind to speak of and we were packing up around 2:30. Sam Hall took the two "hot" barrels off (and put them up for later) after last months match and gave the rest of us a chance yesterday. Tommy posted top five results below in Match Results.

Mark,,,,,,,,Rodney is being modest...He showed us all how it is done yesterday. All that mirage didn't seem to have an effect on him. He did some very good shooting along with James Coffey. It is good to see James get in the winners circle. Greg Culpepper was very consistant and did some good shooting.

The Piedmont SOY race is tight with one match to go.

Missed you yesterday, Mark.

Rodney,

Congratulations on the great shooting. James Coffey and Greg Culpepper showed strong results.
All the regulars were hanging close also.

Again I was hendered from being there. My daughter was in from UT Austin so to keep the peace I stayed at the house.

It was a great day at Piedmont. Perfect temperature and enough fishtailing wind and mirage to keep it interesting. Rodney really put on a show. Good to see old friends and make a few new ones. Missed quite a few that I'd hope to see. I was happy to find out that I hadn't killed the 6BR barrel I tried to fire form 22 Dasher brass with at Oak Ridge last year. Who'd have thunk you could get away with that?

Greg

This can't be right.
Just last month Rodney told me that he couldn't shoot.:D

Congratulations Rodney.:)

Chisolm,

1.3" while most everyone else was shooting 4" or better is the kind of luck we're talkin' about. This is his used up barrel as well. A very modest man, that Rodney.
