Watch our West Virginia Mountaineers play the Crimson Tide. My Grandson Josh, is #86 and the kicker. I hope it is a great game, but I probably need a sip of shine to settle my nerves.
On the bus going to the Georgia Dome earlier Josh called and just said he wanted to tell his Nanny and Papaw that he loved us. That was worth a million dollars to us.

None of my dogs are in that particular hunt so: Good Luck! Having a grandson in the game has to be a thrill but a kicker has to be hard on you. When there are 7 seconds left and it's down to a field goal attempt, I'd be too nervous to watch.

Tom,
Josh has only been in the win game situation one time. He kicked the winning FG to beat TCU last year in overtime. Tough game today and I don't believe in moral victories, but I saw a lot of positives and think it can be built upon.

Butch, your grandson did well today -- as did his team. I know you'll enjoy watching him and the team the rest of the year.

Butch, although WVA came up a little short, they played better than anyone expected and Josh did all that was asked of him. Things will get better as the year progresses. James

Butch, I think W.VA. gave the Tide all they wanted. Our local Virginia Tech team will resume playing W.VA in a year or two. That rivalry had gotten so intense (for some fans) that cooler heads decided to let it chill for a few years. :)

James, It is WVU or as Glenn says W.WA. When Josh first started at WVU, I made the same mistake and was thoroughly chastised. Looking forward to playing Virginia Tech.
