Nikon Scope Repair

I have a Nikon Monarch 6-24x50mm, an now the cross hairs are extremely fuzzy at certain distances almost to the point of being translucent. I've tried side focus and power changes at different yardages, no change.

Has anyone sent one in for repair out of warranty? If so how much was the repair in round numbers?

Or any Ideas on how to fix it.

Did you refocus the eyepiece? Should be something simple like that

Well that was a quick fix.. I feel pretty dumb now!!!! My brother sent me his F-class AR to try out, which is what this scope is on, and never could get the cross hairs right, thought it was damaged when he shipped it to me, and I never though to pull the cover off the eyepiece.

Thank you very much.

I have a Nikon Omega on my muzzle loader and it would change the impact location if i zoomed in. It was a 3-9x40. I sent it back with a note and they returned it to me a couple of weeks later. They repaired it. I sighted it in two weeks ago and verified that it was fixed. The only cost was $8 to ship it to them. Nikon has a lifetime warrantee for defects.
