New World Records Set At Williamsport this year.

There were a total of 6 World Records set at the Original 1000 Yard Benchrest Club in Williamsport ,Pa this year .I am happy to post them hear for all of you to see because these shooters were ROCK solid all year and deserve some recogntion.

They are:: Heavy Gun 10 match group= 6.161" set by a very nice young man who is already tough to beat at his young age, his name is - Jimmy Kuchinski
Heavy Gun 10 match score= 96.2 set by Matt Kline
Heavy Gun 6 match score= 99.0 set by Matt Kline
Heavy Gun Small Group = 2.815 set by Matt Kline (we already all new that!!)
Heavy Gun high score = 100 4x /2.815.
Light Gun High Score = 100 6x 4.237" set by Frank Weber

Our overall winners for the year were = 2-gun shooter of the year-Eric Springman
Heavy Gun shooter of the year--Matt Kline
Light Gun shooter of the year--Dan Fraizer

Hats off to Jimmy for the time,effort and persistance to shoot well every week and a special thanks to Ed for his time well spent preparing Jimmy rifles for the year. And another pat on the back for Matt and Frank. Thanks for bringing these records back to Williamsport, the most difficult 1000 yard benchrest range in the country.

It’s a privilege to shoot with you guys and an honor to be in your company. You're all great examples of how dedication pays off and how unmatched your skills are. I have to admit that I'm a little jealous of Jimmy. I wish I had a grandfather like Ed.;)
 
Just think- Jimmy just turned 15- his best years are ahead- that is if he concentrates on shooting!!!!
Frank Weber has been setting records for decades and continues.
What can be said about Matt Kline. He sent me an email in FEBRUARY and said he was going to set a record at the club.
Congrats to all and as Vinny said its a privilege to shoot against these guys.

I think there were 6 records broken at Williamsport this year. Matt scored 100 with his 2.815" world record group, so the 100 score is also a new world record. Congradulations to all the new world record holders!
