New Winchester 52B

A few weeks ago I won a Winchester 52B at an on-line auction. It arrived at my FFL last week and I got a chance to look it over. Wood and bluing looks good, safety has been removed and it has a Canjar trigger. Bore looks great.

Anyone have any experience with the Winchester 52B's?

I also won a Remington 513T with a Fecker scope.

I finally picked up my rifles from the FFL and took some pics.

I also glommed a 52D. The 52B is not in as nice a shape as the D, but it ain't bad. Wood and metal are very good, with a few small spots of surface rust. Bluing on the receiver is not bright and glossy like the D.

Vaver sight seems to work perfectly. I've been told this is a Canjar trigger. It is very light, with no creep over overtravel

Looks like a pretty

nice rifle. The canjar trigger is a big improvement over the B trigger and itself is worth quite a bit of money. Let us know how it shoots. --Greg

The

I've got a brick of Lapua CenterX arriving today. I'll post a range report when able.

Rear sight disc looks to be a rubber Merit, all dried up. Just the rubber disc is available to replace the shot one from Merit. Just google them. Have you posted over on rimfirecentral.com. Maybe more interest in old classics over there? Greg
