Good morning from Louisville, Ky
My name is Mark and I am a former smallbore rifle and 3 gun centerfire pistol shooter. I grew up in the midst of varmint hunters (groundhog) in the early sixties and have had some association with BR through a long time friend, shooter and barrel/bullet maker Dave Walker (You would have to go way back to remember him).
I am not a bench rest shooter and don't claim to be, however, I do and have used many of your tecniques over the years to make the most accurate rifles and loads that I can possibly have in order to better enjoy my pasttime. The closest thing that I have to a BR rifle is a trued Rem 700 SA with a Walker Bros. bbl that Dave did for me shortly before his death...in (go ahead and laugh) 222 Rem Mag. with a 24X Leupold Target scope and will shoot low 2's when I do my part.
I have found much interesting info so far while perusing the site and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I will probably post little and read much...you all should enjoy that because I can become quite verbose at times.
Thanks for the great site and allowing me to be a part thereof,
Mark Ray
