New benchrest candidates

I'm putting together my first new rifle and caliber since the you tube era and have been cruising the internet looking for information. I'm finding video after video of young guys happier than clams at high tide over 1"-1.5" groups at 100 yards. I really think that if they ever shot back to back 1/4" groups or 5-X VFS targets they would be stunned and hooked.

Hi Francis! I'm still a fanatic photographer. Good to see you're still kicking.

Out of boredom, I picked up a "part time job" several years back and it seems to have taken over my life. I'm trying to figure how to extricate myself back to at least part time status and get back into shooting. It doesn't help that I live 330 miles from Riverbend though I'm still a member.
