Need to rebarrel for factory class

I need to replace the barrels on two Remington 700 rifles.
One is a 223 and the other is a 308.

In the rules, it says the barrels must be factory barrels and have the manufacturer stamp on it.

They tell me that Remington will not sell just the barrel this way. That if you want a new barrel you must send the rifle to Remington to have them install it.

Since the rifles are not in the US, this is difficult.
Is there some way to get the proper barrel for these guns with out sending them to Remington?

You could always start contacting gunsmiths and inquire about new take off barrels.

Paul, A lot of new take off barrels are out there and they are cheap. Also there is a 243 varmint barrel Remington that has been rebored and has a 308 cutrifled size now. Is that legal or not?

You don't say what country the rifles are in, although you're in OH apparently. If there is an authorized Remington repair facility in whatever country they might be able to install new factory barrels. I'm sure that since just about anything related to guns and shooting is restricted these days that exporting take off barrels to wherever would be nigh on impossible. :(

Brownell's

I saw where Brownell's had a sale on Rem barrels. I assume they're Rem brand.
