One of my buddies is looking for a electric motor that is suitable for neck turning that is 110 volt, approx 200 rpm's and reasonably priced. Who sells them and will we need a gear box etc etc?

Any advice would be appreciated.:)

Thanks in advance,

Vic

These can be used to build a neck turning lathe. They are "straight", not 90 degree gearmotors. $80 each, delivered USPS.

These are brand new in the box. Specs are:

Dayton Permanent Split Capacitor Gearmotor
Hp: 1/25
RPM: 95 @ 60 Hz
RPM: 79 @ 50 Hz
Voltage: 115 Hz 50/60
Torque: 20 in. lbs
Bearings: Sleeve and ball
Mounting: face
Enclosure: TENV
Ambiant: 40° c Max
Duty: Continuous
Shaft: 1/2" Dia

Thanks for looking,

Jay
