48 shooters attended the 2017 NBRSA Eastern Region 3-Gun Championship this past weekend at the Fairchance Rod and Gun Club. Jerry Van Sickle and the Fairchance leadership team had the club grounds in great shape ready for our annual Eastern Region Championship!
Attending shooters endured high cross-winds on Saturday morning with the start of the Light Varmint 100yd aggregate. The agg’s reflected the high winds with many group sizes fired between .3XX” and .6XX”s!
Mel Estep’s had little problem in managing the tough conditions with his first place win with a .2346” aggregate. Many shooters were amazed with Guy Grabiec’s .078” small group of the aggregate shot in the high winds during the first match! Well done, Mel and Guy!

After our lunch break, the winds subsided somewhat with Willie Bauer putting down a fine .1884” to take first place. Jeff PeinHardt had the small group of the aggregate with a .113” group

Sunday morning brought some light rain and some switching winds. Harley Baker managed both very well in taking first with a .2207” aggregate. Little Wayne Campbell shot a very nice .163” to take the small group award of the aggregate.
