Skip target duty, Lynn?

What a mistake.

That's where all the juicy gossip is.

Love, hate, envy...

Wouldn't miss it for anything.

Edited to add:

My generous employer, Mac Tilton, of MT Guns, will be donating a Gift Certificate worth $250 off any Barnard action.

This will go to a non-winner, as those guys always get the prizes, and they have too much of everything anyway.

And... I'm certain we all noticed that Barnard actions took 1st and 3rd places in F-Class Open in the recent Nationals.

Pit duty in Sacramento is more fun than the shooting but my father is 75 and doesn't want to be known as a slow puller so he hires Craig's girlfriend to do his pit duty.At the last Nationals several shooters saw what he was doing and expressed a interest in doing the same thing but at that point is was too late to do anything about it.Craig is now looking for firm committments of those wishing for the services of the grizzlies before he has 20 kids sitting there with nobody hiring them.
You have a very very nice boss and his contribution to our sport is always a cherished prize. Now if I can only win it along with a Shehane stock a Nightforce scope and a Barrel I might be able to do a little better.

Lynn, I am another one of the OLDER crowd and I would certainly consider joining you father on the side lines.

HELP HELP HELP
Guys our Match Director has been hospitalised:( so if you have sent him an e-mail and have not received a reply get in touch with myself at lynn_dragoman@att.net and I will do my best to help you out or point you in the right direction.
We are currently still good for the match but I ask everybody to help out in making this one run extra smoothly.
That means lets keep it as simple as possible for the crew and concentrate on the shooting. Please use as much common sense as you can and all will go smoothly.

Please note that there is an underscore line between Lynn and Dragoman in my e-mail address

Latest update 4-19-10
I talked with Craig's girlfreind Theresa tonight and he is still on life support at the hospital and neither of them will be at the match.
She also doesn't have access to his computer so if you sent him an e-mail don't expect a reply in the near future as he is extremely ill.

I have only received 2 requests for pullers and as of this point we don't have enough interest to use the california grizzlies. For those wanting a puller you will have to make arrangements with a fellow shooter.

The way we draw for benches on thursday after the last sight in period doesn't give us enough advanced warnng to hire the grizzlies. If 5 shooters wanted a puller we wouldn't know until thursday evening after the benches and relays were assigned how many grizzlies to hire.Yes we could simply hire 5of them but the cost would be prohibitive to alot of shooters as the shooter would have to pay them for the full day even though they only worked one relay.

How is Craig??

Hi Lynn....wow Craig must be very sick....thank you for letting us know about him....and keep us up to date....(maby give mail addy so we can send a card to him..)...I think the idea of hiring select pullers is too much for the terrible economy ..."some" of us (ME) can barely afford to travel clear across the nation and then pay to have my targets pulled....I think some of our fellow shooters will "man up" and help those of us who need assistance in the pits ...we are a close nit bunch of shooters and I am shure many will step up to the plate and help.....Roger
PS...tell Craig we are "Pulling" for his recovery....

camping for the poor at the nationals

Can anyone tell me if there is a camping area at sloughouse for the 600 yard nationals? Also, what utilities are available (sewer, elec, water) if any and how far from the 600 yard range?

There is camping at the range but it is about 400 yards from the 600 yard line so you will most likely still need to drive to the line if you have alot of gear.
I don't know about the hook-ups or electricity.

In the past, water is there for hook-ups, and a big generator for all to use periodically. still the company is top notch, and camp fire each morning and night if you wish. Ron Tilley
