My Bullet Business

Ronnie Cheek
There is a rumor going around that I am going to stop making bullets. I do not know where that got started and I don't suppose it really makes any difference, but it is what it is - just a rumor. If I was going to stop making bullets, I would have done it back in March 2005. I still have all my equipment, plenty of jackets, lead and gobs of bullet lube. So, I guess I'll continue on with the bullet making. Ronnie

Yes, Ronnie is still making bullets. and, good ones too.

two of the teen aggs i shot this year were with his bullets.

Ronnie always makes great bullets! Try em, you will like em.

OK, but how do I find a place to buy these bullets?

I Googled "Ronnie" and got Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Jr. who is apparently a big star on a TV show called "Jersey Shore". Is this the same guy? Somehow I don't think so.

Go here for Cheek bullets.

True story. The first time I bought any Cheek bullets, I had gone to his website and looked around. I decided I wanted some bullets so I entered an order. When I hit enter, it just sort of went away and so I thought maybe the site had a fault. As time went on, I forgot about it.
One day probably 6 or 7 months later, I went to the post office and had a package. When I retrieved it it was a heavy little box. Upon opening it, it was my Cheek bullets with an invoice inside.
Good bullets from a very good man. You will like them.

Ronnie is Top Shelf fella

Similar story. Ronnie didn't know me from Adam when I ordered .30 cal, 112/7s. On top of that, I ordered the bullets while overseas and after I return after a month or so, the bullets show up with an invoice. I appreciated that a lot.

Do they shoot? They shoot 'lights out'!! Promptly loaded up and went a Gulf Coast Regional VFS Sept of 2013 and shot a 100 yd, 250x 25 and a 200 yd, 250x9 and set a new 500x34 agg world record. Record only lasted 6 months but hey, thats the nature of the beast. Yeah, they work pretty darn well, thank you.

Heard the rumor a couple months back and I called Ronnie to let him know about it so he could quell the rumor. In typical Ronnie fashion, not a single hackle was raised and it was like , ok, next subject, please. Like everyone else, I don't understand folks starting stuff like that.

Ronnie is first class fella and has provided us with great bullets. He goes the extra mile, too. I got the wild hare idea I wanted to try to make some bullets and Ronnie helped me out tremendously. He is a great mentor and freely shared his wealth of knowledge with me. How much more can a man do? Hmmm, he can keep on pullin' that handle!

Thanks Ronnie, for everything.

Hey Lynn! How have you been doing?
I agree with you that Ronnie is one fine gentleman. I had the exact same experience many years ago. I called to order bullets. He sent them with an invoice. He didn't know me from the man in the moon.
As to how the bullets shoot; very, very well.
Thanks Ronnie.
