We learned a lot from our experience of organizing the MICHIGAN SCORE CHALLENGE series of events in 2009. As a whole we felt that the effort was usefull and caused a number of significant reactive things to happen that were a benefit to benchrest as a whole. We also found out a few things that didn't work as well as hoped. We have gone ahead and organized a continuation of the event for 2010, but with a few changes and simplifications. Set forth below is the official outline of the program.
MICHIGAN SCORE CHALLENGE 2010
The Michigan Challenge will consist of 7 aggregates out of a possible 14, shot at 4 different ranges throughout the state of Michigan on 8 separate days. At the end of the season shooters scores will be totaled to determine ranking for each class contested. Qualifying shooters must shoot at least one day at each of the 4 participating ranges. Awards will be based upon each shooters best aggregate from each yardage at each of the 4 ranges. Classes will be Varmint for Score, Hunter and Varmint Hunter per IBS & NBRSA rules, Custom/Factory class A and Custom/Factory class B. A minimum of 5 participant will be necessary in any class to qualify for final awards.
