Will a Savage Model 12 short action fit in a McMillan Edge stock?

Just finished Savage Model 12 Precision Varminter

Put it in an McMillian Savage Varminter stock Edge Technology with a #5 sporter barrel. I had to inlet it for the Savage bottom metal.

Thanks, Dusty. I guess I asked the wrong question. Shoulda asked if the Edge can be inletted for the Model 12.

Ive seen a list maybe on their site of all the programs they have for inletting. Give em a call. Nat- his is a solid bottom so no mag cutout.

I checked McMillan's site yesterday. It has a place for a list of suitable actions, but nothing there--it's a complete blank.
