The conditions were considerably better for the match today compared to last month. It rained pretty steady the first 3 matchs and the the wind came up a little for 4 and 5 but overall pretty good conditions, fairly light but with enough gremlins to take you off the x. We had 9 VFS,3 Mod and 4 Factory shooters. In VFS Ronnie Davis held on for the win with 250-20x, Steve Stanley was 2nd w 250-19x and Roy Darnell was 3rd w 250-19x and Dale Avery was 4th w 250-19x also. Ronnie and Dale were running 1-2 going into match 5 but Roy and I put a fender on them on the last lap and got them into the wall but we both cut a tire down doing it so we couldn't get by Ronnie. In Modified Doug Knowles held off George Neal for the win with a fine 250-14x score to George's 250-11x, James Davis was 3rd with 248-10x's,very good scores and tight competition. In factory Zack (little roy) Darnell shot an outstanding 250-6x score with a bone stock sako ppc, Phillip Curtis was 2nd with a good 248-11x score. The competition is getting tight in modified and factory with more competitors. Thanks to all who helped make the match happen. Steve
