It was a nice day for a match, it was in the 30's with pretty heavy frost early but warmed up nicely by the time we were through. The conditions were mild early but went downhill pretty quick with some wind and heavy mirage. Phil Lewis came out the gate hard with a .315 for small group but he got in the loose stuff on lap 2 and scrubbed the wall while Roy Darnell shot a .348 for match 2, Bob Yerkes shot a .556 for match 3, Dennis Brame had a .578 for match 4 and Phil put a hard charge on for match 5 with a .405 but Roy Darnell held on for the win with Phil .003 behind for 2nd( photo finish) with Dennis Brame coming home 3rd. We only had 7 shooters show up all BR guns, no factory or custom guns at all but we had a good time anyway. Bob Yerkes won the warmup with a .351 and led until match 4 when he saw Roy gaining on him and hit the wall while watching Roy in the mirror. I think they are going to have 1 more match in Nov and Phil will post details later. Thanks to all the folks that helped out with the match. Steve
