It was HOT!!! at the Rock today, it was so hot the wind couldn't even blow hard. The conditions were unusually good for the Rock with light breezes and overall good conditions except for the temps. I guess the folks around here have better sense than we give them credit for, only 11 of us were crazy enough to come out and shoot in this heat. We had 8 VFS and 3 factory class shooters. In VFS Ronnie Davis took the win with a score of 250-21x, Cuz'n Roy Darnell was 2nd w 250-20x and Ken Eades was 3rd w 250-19x. The boys are starting to get wise to Roy's last lap trick so Ronnie mashed his fender in on his tire on the next to last lap so Roy couldn't get by on the last lap. In factory class Charles Ellerston won with a score of 242-4x and Paul Shaeffer was 2nd w 235-4x. We all had a good time in spite of the heat. Thanks to all that came and those that helped with the match. See ya next time, Steve
