What is the barrel tennon thread on a large ring Mauser 98 ??

It appears to be 1.100 diameter, 12 TPI, and I think that the thread is a 55 degree thread???

Is any of that right???

The 1.100 X 12 is correct, The pitch in the receiver may be 55 degree however I made all that I barreled 60 degree with very good results.

Your choice 55 or 60.

Paul is correct Gene. It is 55deg., but most use 60deg.
