maybe someone can help me...... I have this scope that I got from a friend but I know nothing about it. it is a Lyman All American LWBR straight 25X,made in U.S.A. it has target style turrets, and steel screw in lens caps and adjustable objective. it is 17 inches long. the glass is crystal clear and it has a fine cross hair. this scope is in excellent condition except you can see where the scope rings were placed when it was mounted. Does anyone know when this scope was made or how old it might be? my friend said he bought a Seiko 22-250 at an estate sale and this scope was on it. does anyone know what it is worth or is anyone interested in it.

They were made in the 1970's through early 1980's. They usually fetch $300 in excellent or better condition. I have a 20X All American on my .222 LV and it's a nice piece of glass.

I was told by an old varmit hunter they were from the early 60s to early 70s, now I have your input and I'm not sure what is what.
