I didn't answer about where they are made, because I don't know. I had a Lyman turret a few years ago, I did look it over and could not find that it was imported, but again, I don't know for sure. It sounds like you already have a good bit of experience with loading presses. I hate to hear about RCBS going overseas, that will really hurt them. Most reloaders are patriotic Americans.
I have a Rockchucker out in the garage, and a Lee classic cast 4 hole turret here in the house. Also, a Lee hand press that gets lots of use. I just sold a Lee turret, the old style, and it was a great press. Best - Ted
To add: If you want a good single stage, take a look at the new Lee that has a quick change bushing for he dies, it is really neat. You put each die in a bushing. The bushing quick changes on the press, and you don't have to set the die up every time you remove and re-attach it. Kind of like a turret without the turret, but still has the brevity of a single stage. It is fully cast iron, and is not flimsy or cheap by any means. I am a stickler for quality, and a lot of people bypass Lee products because they are not nearly as expensive as the competition, don't let this fool you. No, I don't work for Lee.
I just like their products.
