Luther Oklahoma Match

Nice temperature, great turn out but very tough conditions. Winds 15 to 20 but from all directions. On the first target at 200, I was running the match and watching flags from 0 to 50 yds going right to left, 50 to 100 going straight away, 100 to 150 going left to right and the last 50 the flags were going round and round like a merry go round. It was really funny because I was not shooting.
100yds won by Tom Ross.
200yds won by Larry Scharnhorst and Larry won the grand, followed by Don Creach, Joe Hargadine, Richard Brensing and Mike Ratigan. We 38 shooters (our largest match ever) and 5 new shooters. Top 5 positions ranged from .331 to .384. Sixth place was a .4132. Not pretty scores for alot of places but that is Luther.

I don't know if it was funny,

but it was fun I told Larry Scharnhorst when you came out to hang the last stat sheet I was going to stand on my tippy-toes and place it as high as I could reach. Great job Larry, and thanks Rex for running a great match.

My wife and I want to thank Rex for running a great match. It was our first time to shoot at Luther and what an experience! Never seen the flag tails point straight up at the sun before! Looking foward to next month.
