Just finished watching a video about electronic calipers with bluetooth capability. It was from an outfit called igaging. The interesting part was how the data could be sent from the calipers to a spreadsheet on an Amazon Fire tablet. A number of ways this could be useful come to mind. One is in scoring targets. Once you've got the group size determined a push of a button on the calipers sends the number to the tablet. Interesting to see if it could work with bughole. All the other ways of gathering data for statistical analysis apply here such as measuring neck thickness, neck diameter etc. And the prices for the calipers are in the doable range, $99.95 for 12" calipers.
