Looking for 6.5-284 bullet tips

I have a hart 1 in 8 twist and was going to try some berger 140 vld and some sierra 140 match kings out of it. Does anyone have any experiance with either bullets or any tips.

my 6.5 x 284 likes both, around 2950 ft/sec about .030-.050 off the lands, H4831SC, Retumbo, or H4350, and a fed large rifle #210 primer, lapua brass

The 142 gr SMK is an improvement over the 140 gr. It has a higher BC. As far as loading the Berger VLD`s.. use this advice from Berger Bullets.. Link..
