my dies should be here soon! My gun has 1x10 twist, i have lots of different powders, bullets. I just need some starting loads. Thanks Johnnie

I use H4350 in my 6x47. What bullet weight do you want to shoot? Tom

You should expect to shoot a bullet weight of 87 gr or under. According to berger anything heaver has to have a flat nose.
Hope this helps.

Glenn

My 10 twist barrel shoots 105 grain Speer hunting bullets into 3/4 moa. 95 grain BIB bullets shoot less than 1/2 moa. I tried some Berger 95 VLD's but they didn't work and I am sure they need a 9 twist or better as Berger states. Tom

Thanks for all the response. How much of the 4350 do I start with and are there any other powders I could try? What about seating depth. Do you just make it work in the magazine or do you look for something else? Thanks again for all the help. Johnnie

I will look at my notes tomorrow and get back with you. I have also used H414 and Re17. I have only loaded bullets from 85 grains to 105 grains and in all cases H4350 gave me slightly better accuracy. Tom
