Bill, I'm an old guy......I love you Aussie fellers...so many friends...

Here's where I'm at in my life.........I'm and old man......

Billy, I've been blessed to have some awesome shooters shoot my little guns.....those folks have won every National Championship, several times, and have set every, or still own, all the rimfire benchrest world records...

But, this is here in the United States......

Billy, before my time is up, in this old world, I want to do what I can to let folks, throughout the world, see "Calfee" rimfire accuracy.......(Billy, I don't know nothing)

I understand the Italians have ordered a bunch of custom actions from the USA....I won't mention the brand name.....they are getting serious....

Billy, I don't know exactly what my old body will allow me to do....but, I'm going to do all I can to get some killer rifles in the hands of my dear Aussie friends...if at all possible....may not be...

What I addressed in my letter, to you, may not work....or, it just might......I don't know.......

Billy, I will leave you with this......when you shoot one of these little rifles, like DJ's, man, it's worth the effort to do all one can to produce them...they are awesome....man, it's fun to shoot a gun that you believe will win for you if you do your part.....

Your right shooting one of these little rifles, like DJ's, they are awesome.

Your rifles have set a few records in the USA, but don’t forget they also hold a few World Championship records too.

Bill showed me the letter you sent him and we’ll need to look into it, but I think it is something we can and maybe should do.

The Italian thing is interesting, it means we can still get custom rimfire actions out of the US.

Thanks Bill, Leave it with me & Peter. He is right we are looking at this together, like most important other rimfire shooting matters down here.
I think people are starting to think we are team like Aboott & Costello, just not sure which one I am as yet :rolleyes:

For the benefit of our Euro friends who are reading this and not understanding we are talking in code about tuner setting and we’ll never let you know who is on first.:confused:

It's nice to know that there are folks on your end of the world that are old enough to know "who's on second"......

MY dear Aussie friends......I don't know how all this will shake out...I do know this: If I ain't too old, and if you guys are willing, we are going to put some "Killer" rimfire benchrest rifles in Australia.....(not that there ain't killer rifles there now)

I want, before my time on this old world is over, to spread "Calfee" accuracy throughout the world.....

My dear Aussie friends.....Bill Calfee is a dumb, old, un-educated guy.....I'm as ugly as sin, but, I've dedicated my entire life to trying to figure out how to make these little rimfires "SHOOT".......

I love my Aussie friends, you have given me so much......

I'm going to attempt to give you Aussie folks something back, if possible.....SO MUCH WORK TO DO....

Feeling Old Today

Bill i got reminded today that I may be getting old. Firstly by you because I vaguely remember Abbott & Costello & then my 15 year old daughter beats me by 1 point to win the NSW State Title. At least we kept it in the family
1st & 2nd.

Maybe one day I will get the killer Calfee & start to feel a young 45 again ;)

P.S. Dave & DJ if you read this, it's official, now I know what's it's like to be beaten by someone using your own gun:cool:
