Having lost the 6 gun by 3 Xs (Jim had the tie breaker if we had the same x count) and the 3 gun meter by one X, you know I just had to plug my targets at home - just to see. I'm pleased to say the scoring team got it right. There was not a point or X missed or gained. Great job scoring team!!!!

Did any one shoot the Falcon action? Thinking about spending the money, just wanted to know.

Kent Owens used a Falcon to shoot the 250-14X that was second in13.5 lb yards. I think I had the only other one there but did not compete with it. Not enough trigger time to know it's wind sensitivity. Got it sighted in and let a few people try it.

I shot the Falcon actioned rifle on Saturday and shot 248 and a 250. I shot it in 13.5 class meters and shot another 248 and missed the last darned shot due to a mis read on the wind, was easy to do. I think I was 4th in the 2 gun on Saturday. The action works very well and the rifle never missed a shot, but the shooter didn't do as well as he should have. I still don't think I have the thing in exact tune, just haven't had the time to work with it. But for a brand new build it's doing it's thing well. I shot some ammo that I got from Don Stith, so there was no practice or testing done before the match, due to being sick with a sinus infection that made it miserable to be outdoors in 90+ degree heat.
The Falcon action will do well. It works slick, and the ignition is excellent, and it's pretty too, if you like rifles, and I love rifles:).

Thanks Cliff.

Thanks for putting on another great Nationals. I've never had to "babysit" more than 31 shooters at any one time. I can't imagine trying to keep up with the Nationals crowd. Only those who have done it know what a task it is. Your service to the sport is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to Bob Collins, Jim Pepper and Bill Thumper Smith on some outstanding shooting.
