I have been receiving some calls and hearing rumors that myself and David Detsch are retiring and or closing shop. These seem to be coming from a single individual for some sort of self serving purpose. I spoke with David last night and he has heard the same thing that I am speaking of. Just to confirm neither David or myself are retiring or closing shop in the immediate future, we are both around the same age and have a while before retirement. So I would say unless either David or myself tell you we are stopping I would question the source the information is coming from. George Ulrich Also for the record we are both extremely backlogged with work.
 
I also should add that I have stopped making bullet trays and have turned this over to Aaron French, afrench on board. Prices should be close to what they were. Thanks George
 
Whats with the rumors about bullet makers these days. Didnt we just see a rumor somewhere that Ronnie Cheeks was quitting as well.

seems with all our resources we should be able to identify the sad excuse for a man........????

George, I feel for ya - I can relate to this - in the last few years, I have died, at least, twice, quit making stuff, etc.
I also read Ronnie Cheek's post, regarding rumors of his closing shop. The rumor-mill seems to never end: such envy must be regarded a form of flattery.
Why don't you just lock the doors, for a couple of years, and work on my stuff!:eek::eek: To paraphrase Mark Twain, "Rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated.":p Keep up the good work. RG

Rumors

Maybe Hillary had Susan Rice put out the rumors.. Anyway, I hope that's is what they are for long time coming,, just rumors.. The sport needs to keep you guys alive and @ full speed , producing your quality products..

I've become guilty of posting stuff that's not pertinent and this is an example.

R.G. was my go to guy, when I was an NBRSA director, in the event there was an item on the agenda concerning hunter class. I didn't know much about hunter class but R.G. took the time to give me both sides of any issue. Not just the side he was on - both sides! I don't believe I've ever said this out loud but I will now....

It is true, that I, once, tried to die, but, during the tryouts and interviews, neither side wanted me - both sent me back, stating, "you need more practice." This left me more confused than ever!:p I suppose this IS hell frozen over, AND purgatory! :eek:RG

My intent was not to hijack George's thread, but rather, as my check-book register verifies, to testify that, indeed, George IS still making and delivering excellent die-sets! :cool: Thank you, G:)eorge. RG
