JJ front rest

I am new to BR, and looking for a good quality front rest. So far Im leaning to towards a JJ industries rest. Could I get some feed back on this? Since Im new to the game, my advise pool is rather limited.
At first glance, it seems a wee bit pricey as far as some of the others, but if it works as good as it looks, then Ill cry once, not twice. Also, will it convert over to a left hand shooter? Didnt see that feature in sinclairs ad. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

JJ rests

am also left hand while my wife (who shoots) is right handed. We both have J.J. rests. While my rest is right handed, I've had no trouble using it. If it is a big deal, I'm pretty sure the manufactuurers of this rest would make a left handed one it you should ask.
We both also have farley rests and I probably use the JJ more.

JJ rest

Hi Ethan,

I have one of the prototypes that evolved into the rest that Jon Loh makes. The craftsmanship is fantastic. I would have to say worth every penny. The precision ground threads make adjustment silky smooth. I really like the low center of gravity design on the windage top. I don't know on the convert to left, I suspect Jon will have some. http://jj-industries.com/

I would buy another - and may have to in a year or two as my son gets into the sport. What a great excuse to upgrade!

I've used one for 4 years now and it's one of, if not the finest front rests I've seen.

it will convert to left hand. A fellow shooter from my home club bought his set up for right handed shooter and converted it with little effort for himself.

I believe it comes with instructions to convert.......

The JJ rest will convert over to left. I'm left handed and use one. Fantastic rest. Only thing I wish Jon would change is the speed screw. It's not as fast as the SInclair screw. And it is bigger diameter than most so the more common sighter cams won't work on it.

Thank you for your input. I suspected such a fine piece of workmanship would merit good feedback. I have yet to see one in person, hence my post, and I Iam gratefull for your input. Now it looks as though, the trick will be to find one. Another attribute of good workmanship, out of stock :)
