Jeff Summers...A great man and a great shooter.

Jeff Summers is old school in that he is a bag squeezer, shoots his own bullets and 'smiths his own rifles. He and Tony are probably the top two money winners at the Super Shoot. Here is a picture of him accepting the first place trophy at the SS for the second time. There are not many repeat winners of this match. James

Great job Jeff, you shot very consistent the whole week. Enjoy the WIN!

I was fortunate to shoot by Jeff last week. He last won the SS in 1988. I've noticed that he is in the hunt where ever he shoots, good shooter, good guy. Way to go Jeff.

I would like to add to the chorus of congratulations to Mr. Summers. He is one fine shooter, and has been, for about 30 years... You will not find another shooter at his level that is more humble and low-keyed as Jeff. He can win ANY match he walks into. As a precursor to this win, he also won the Shamrock 2-gun in March. Many times you will read that he has won a match somewhere, but his photo doesn't appear. It is not hat he is shy (although he is a bit), but that he needs to leave the range and drive through the night to get to work the next day! This Super Shoot win couldn't have happened (again) to a nicer guy and one of the all time best at our game.

I had the chuckle when I heard the Jeff had won. Not because he won but we were discussing how he chambers barrels. He explained his process and one of the guys sitting with us said the this way just doesn't work as good as the newer methods.

Ya gotta love it.
