Jackie Schmidt

I get around, round, round

Wilbur, I looked in my address book to get Jackie's address for you and I realized that I had a bunch of old addresses for Jackie dating from way back. A list of these places gives a clue to the life of Jackie Schmidt as he lived it. Here are a few in no apparent order: Curator, The Unabomber Museum Lincoln Montana; Spa Director, The Institute for Interspecies Love Big Sur California; A place listed only as The Big Hole in the Ground Southern Somalia; Community Organizer Ferguson, Mo; Editor in Chief High Times Magazine and a dive bar called The Sperm Wail on the Houston ship channel. I am frankly astonished at what a renaissance man Jackie was.I now have a better appreciation of his life experiences and personal philosophy. I also am careful not to get too close to him. You might consider doing the same. Tim

Yikes! I forgot about them. I mean it was hard to separate truth from myth and myth from legend when talking to them. Eventually they faded into legend. But now you say there is a group of them alive and well in Canada? This is like finding a band of Druids living in Central Park NYC....possible but still a little unnerving. Tim
 
No he dont move much!

Ive seen that lathe he has, and as big as it is I am absolutely sure he doesn't move often.
