I had the step by step pictured process saved in my favorites and now I can't bring it up for viewing and I can't seem to locate it using the search engine.

Could someone please re-post it or guide me on how to find it.
 
i think it was in the gunsmith or 1000yd forum

and yes the search engine is is a single cylinder hand started .49 cc engine....
 
Jackie...I believe you posted (in the past) that your lathe headstock was too long for using a spider...that you use a fitted center inside the headstock for the barrel muzzle to locate on...if this is still the method you use...how do you indicate the chamber end?
Do you use a ranging rod to reach the chamber throat (etimated location) and use that as a point to indicate??..I am curious how you would get the bore from the chamber end of the barrel to the throat running true with the headstock..?

Eddie, before I go back and explain the entire thing, go back and look at the pictures again. You will see how I rough drilled the chamber out in order to reach in with the indicator where the throat is going to be established. I then taper bore the chamber after that.......jackie

I am sorry to inform the gentlemen on this forum that the "person" in the posted pictures is not Jackie but his clone. The one squinty eye is on the correct side but the hump in his spine is on the wrong side. You see the story of Jackie's true identity is only just now been exposed in Wilileaks. He was the result of a botched, cloning experiment using human DNA and the only known sample of viable Tyrannosaurus Rex DNA in existence. After years of frustrating failures and countless billions of dollars in funding the program produced Jackie and his clone. The resulting furor over this result ruined the careers of all on the project. The results, indeed the very existence, of the program was labeled top secret and kept from public view. Shortly thereafter Jackie and his clone disappeared. They later resurfaced in the Houston ship channel and for some unknown primal urge probably from the T Rex side of the gene pool started to shoot benchrest in the Gulf Coast League. Both shoot. In fact the clone is a lot better then Jackie. At least the clone has a normal tongue. Jackie's is forked like a lizard. That's the quick way of telling them apart. If the Jackie facing you has a normal tongue its the clone. Tim
 
Jackie I was not trying to leave anyone out of the valuable information that you and the others have to share I was just a tad fearfull of receiving multiple opinions adding to the confusion of what this little pea brain can handle. The last time someone asked the question on how to indicate a chamber it turned out to be fifteen pages long with a multitude of means and methods yet no one responded to your question on how they check their setup after they have completed the work and that caught my undivided attention.
