ever since the airgun benchrest started up and thought I'd sign up and join and make a few posts ever now and then . I'm in my second year of shooting field target and I've been talking to some of the guys trying to get them to have a match at our range. I just recently restocked my Airarms S400H Classic and I think it'll pull double duty as a bench rifle. My bench at home leaves a lot to be desired though . kirby

Kirby, welcome to the forum. You have a great looking rifle there, and hope you gentlemen give it a try.

Take Care,
Joe

Kirby,
Great looking Airgun! Hope you get a chance to shoot some Benchrest as well as F/T with it. How does it shoot? What pellets does it like?

Paul

Welcome

Kirby
glad to have you, We will be happy to help in any way. looking forward to seeing you at a match or just here on the forum.

Thanks for the welcome guys . Paul, she likes JSB Exacts 8.4g 4.52's . I've started sorting the pellets by weight and that's one of the reasons I set up the table yesterday . I'm going to shoot a round in the next few days and see how I do . This is the target I shot yesterday at 30 yards. I shot 4 groups of 5 shots for each of the samplings of pellets (3) top row was unsorted , middle sorted lights, next was sorted heavies. The wind play heck with my groups. I'm going to have to work on that . on the bottom row third target fro the left was my last group shot with the heavies after I had done some chronographing and the wind had laid down. kirby

Kirby,

Nice looking gun ...and targets. My guess is that you are ready to get serious about doing some benchrest, especially with those groups being shot at 30Y where we're only out at 25. And, yes, you will need to work on getting the wind under control. Boy is that ever an oxymoron: Getting the wind under control.

Anyway, welcome to the forum and to the organization.

Dave
