Greetings Everyone,

I wanted to post a little introduction here and mention how how happy I am to find this site. I have been a shooter all my life and shot competition for a while.

I currently have a Remington 700 VSF in .223 Remington. I recently removed a 4-12 Vari-X II and installed a BSA 6-24x44 Illuminated reticle on Leupold super high rings.. I know BSA scopes are often seen with mixed emotion but at this point it is working fine.

I am trying to get to a point where I am comfortable shooting some high power matches.

I look forward to learning as much as I can...

It is an addiction...and expensive...so I have to make the most of it...

Yeah . . . I put together a Rem 700 PSS, Jewell trigger, Leupold Mark 4, 6.5 - 20x 50mm, Mil Dot, Alumina hood, etc. etc. etc. in .308 Win.

It's not what these guys are doing . . . Think about 4x more $$$ . . . :D

That said, there's heaps of technical stuff here, because that's what it takes to get out 1000 metres.

Bellingham. You're right close to the shooting action there man. I'm from down near Vancouver, east of Woodland actually...Yacolt.

Well, Al...

You could go up to Tacoma or Parkland....I hear there is a lot of shooting up there.... It is in the streets, but it is shooting.
